Oshawa Hot Tub Covers
The City of Oshawa is located in the south of the Canadian Province of Ontario; and lies on the shore of Lake Ontario, approximately sixty kilometres to the east of Toronto’s Downtown District. It has a population of just over 152,000 residents.
The city offers its visitors a host of interesting attractions to keep them entertained during their holiday. Culture lovers will enjoy the concerts of the Ontario Philharmonic Symphonic Orchestra; a visit to the Robert McLaughlin Gallery (or RMG, as it is known to locals) which has a collection of more than 4,000 paintings and objects d’art, a library and a shop. Oshawa is also home to the Durham Shoestring Performers, a theatre group which performs at the Arts Resource Centre. Parkwood Estate, which has been classified as a Canadian National Historic Site, was once the home Col R S (Sam) McLauglin and is set in stunningly beautiful gardens. Most tourists take a guided tour of this site, which has been used as a location for many films.
Oshawa has three very interesting museums. One is the Ontario Regiment Museum which is located at Oshawa Municipal Airport and has a huge collection of military equipment; while another is the Canadian Automotive Museum with a collection of sixty five vehicles, which is housed in an authentic setting dating from the 1920s. The third is the Oshawa Community Museum, which showcases the city’s three restored residences from the 19th century. This museum is in Lakeview Park which, in itself, is a lovely tourist attraction.
Every year in March the city plays host to many tourists who come to the maple Syrup Festival which is held on the Purple Woods Conservation Area; while in June of every year, the city hosts Oshawa Fiesta Week, where crowds of visitors to the city enjoy outdoor entertainment and food; as well as its Peony Festival, dedicated to these beautiful flowers which are in full bloom in Spring. The best place to see these blooms is at the Oshawa Valley Botanical Gardens.
Lovers of the great outdoors will thoroughly enjoy cycling along the Waterfront Trail or exploring the Oak Ridges Moraine and the McLaughlin Bay Wildlife Reserve.
Shoppers who believe that a bit of retail therapy is the best part of any holiday will be delighted to find some lovely speciality shops, as well as a good shopping centre (the Oshawa Centre) and a number of smaller squares and malls with very pleasing shops that cater to every need. The Oshawa Centre has a Sears department store, as well as a host of stores which stock a wide range of products, including ladies, men’s and children’s fashion clothing, shoes, bags and accessories and jewellery. The centre has a large selection of restaurants. There is also a good choice of beauty shops; and spas which offer the use of a Jacuzzi or a hot tub with it own hot tub cover simply for relaxation purposes; as well as various treatments which require the use of a hot tub together with its hot tub cover.
