Norfolk County Hot Tub Covers
Hot Tub Covers Norfolk County - Welcome to Norfolk County, a beautiful city in southwestern Ontario on the picturesque shores of the second Great Lake on the St. Lawrence, Lake Erie. Located on some of the most fertile lands in Ontario, Norfolk County’s primary industry is farming with tobacco, ginseng, lavender and wolfberries the top crops being produced in the region. The locals here are super friendly and very hard working. Many put in long hard days working the land. More than a few get in late at night and pull back the hot tub covers on their tubs to soak away their pains.
One of the most significant landmarks here is known as Long Point, a long strip of land nearly 40 km long stretching into Lake Erie and is now a World Biosphere Reserve due to the significant importance it has in the great bird migration each year. If you are a birder, you’ll surely want to make a trip to the Long Point Provincial Park located on the tip of this unique piece of land.
If birding isn’t your thing, fishing might be. Bring your gear for the big catch you’ll be bragging to your friends about for years to come. The towns and ports along the shoreline are full of fishing tales that will keep you entertained for as long as you care to hear them.
If you want to get out of the outdoors, Norfolk County has tons of indoor attractions, most notably the Backstage Capitol Theatre, an acoustical masterpiece that brings in performances and audiences from all over North America. You should also wander over to Port Dover Harbour Museum that commemorates the fishing industry here. Exhibits showcase shipwrecks, boat building, the War of 1812 and the commercialization of fishing. An amazing house museum known as Eva Brook Donly Museum is the home to many pieces of artwork by the late William Edgar Cantelon and Eva Brook Donly herself. The Victorian period home is full of historical documents, maps, photographs and private diaries that provide great adventure for the greatest of history buffs. Other notable museums include Teeterville Pioneer Museum, dedicated to pioneer life, the Delhi Tobacco Museum and Heritage Centre, showcasing the history of the township, and the Backus Mill Heritage and Conservation Centre, a National Historic Site.
Many celebrations take place here each year. Join the hundreds of bikers that take part in a huge biker rally in Port Dover. The Norfolk Country Fair and Horse Show is a fair the celebrates the agricultural roots and is the fifth largest fair in Ontario with over a half million visitors each year. This festival hosts many attractions including horse track racing, carnival rides, artwork contests, vegetable growing contests, horse shows and competitions, farm animal judging, cooking competitions and entertainments by well known artists such as Blue Rodeo.
