Halton Hills Hot Tub Covers
Located just west of Toronto in the Greater Toronto Area, Halton Hills is a relatively new municipality incorporated in 1974. It is made up of primarily 3 major towns including Georgetown, Esquesing and Acton. The geography here is amazing with the Niagara Escarpment dividing the town in half from northeast to southwest. To the north, much of the area is made up of wetlands that are now environmentally protected. To the south, the region is mostly agricultural land.
Halton Hills has something for everyone. Situated just outside of Toronto, this amalgamation of small towns and hamlets has the advantage of partaking in all the amenities of big city living without all the congestion and pollution. Get out on any of the 5 world class golf courses here for a round or 2 with some of the most amazing and friendly people in Ontario. If you like hiking, the Bruce Trail is one of the oldest and longest footpaths in Canada and follows the Niagara Escarpment, now a World Biosphere Reserve. Be sure to stop at the Limehouse Conservation Area along the way and experience the heart of the escarpment in an area known as the Hole in the Wall where ladders cut through fissures in the rock. The Country Heritage Park is an interactive learning centre educating the public on the rural life of agriculture and includes over 30 exhibits scattered over 80 acres with nearly 20,000 antiques. The Williams Mill Visual Arts Centre is home to over 30 artists working in many different mediums from glass to fabric. Visitors can purchase these original works of art for great prices. And finally, don't miss on out an opportunity to watch a live performance at the John Elliott Theatre. This auditorium seats 267 people and has entertained thousands with many spectacular events, live music and theatrical performances.
Sports and recreation also play an important part of this great community. You'll find arenas, ball diamonds, pools, skate parks, tennis courts and a number of sports fields here. Throughout the winter you'll find hockey everywhere. Fans here are diehards. With Toronto being so close you'll see many rooting for the Toronto Maple Leafs in the NHL. Locals are strapped to their TV sets throughout the season with some making their way to the live games only a few minutes away when the Leafs are playing at home. Fans celebrate in many ways, sporting the team logos on everything they can, from flags on their cars to custom embroidered hot tub covers on their spas at home. Hockey here, like in so many other Canadian cities, is a favourite pastime.
Halton Hills is a destination that won't disappoint. Come check out everything this great place has to offer. You might decide to call it home.
