Cambridge Hot Tub Covers
The City of Cambridge is located at the point where the Speed and the Grand Rivers meet, in the south west of the Canadian Province of Ontario. Cambridge is, in fact, the result of an amalgamation in 1973, which formed one city out of the city of Galt, the towns of Hespeler and Preston and a small hamlet called Blair. Today, Galt forms the southern (and largest) sector of Cambridge, while Blair and Preston are the areas to the west of the city and Hespeler is in the north east. Cambridge has a very young population of around 125,000 inhabitants who have an average age of 36.4 years.
Tourists planning a visit to Cambridge should note that climatically, the city has warm and humid summer days which average in the high twenties Celsius and moderately cold winters.
Cambridge has some really spectacular buildings, both old and modern. Galt’s very quaint Old Post Office was built in 1858 and its Collegiate Institute is one of Ontario’s oldest schools; while the University of Waterloo’s School of Architecture building and the Hespeler Library are two stunning examples of modern design.
The city has much to offer the tourist in both winter and in summer. During summer Cambridge hosts many festivals and outdoor events, including music festivals, the Cambridge Highland Games, a dragon boat festival and its more than one hundred year old Fair, held each year in August. Winter events include the night time Cambridge Santa Claus Parade and a Christmas in Cambridge festival.
Among the many attractions of the city, the tropical Cambridge Butterfly Conservatory is a wonderful facility which allows visitors to walk among its many species of beautiful butterflies. The cultural heart of the city includes the Cambridge Centre of the Arts and the Cambridge Galleries which host many exhibitions throughout the year. Sports loving visitors will enjoy using any of the city’s six ice skating rinks, its two indoor and three outdoor swimming pools, as well as its lawn bowling club.
Cambridge prides itself on being a green and eco friendly city, with much of its newest buildings using the latest green technologies. There are also vast tracts of open parkland and more than eighty parks around the city, as well as more than 140km of special bicycle lanes.
Shopping is a delight in Cambridge, which is a trendy and cosmopolitan city. The options are almost limitless for those tourists who believe that shopping and restaurants are a major component of a good holiday, as the city has independent retailers, trendy boutiques, shopping malls and chain stores in abundance. There are many fine restaurants which serve local favorites as well as international cuisine, as well as a hot night scene with pubs, bars, discos and nightclubs.
There is hotel accommodation to suite every taste and budget, including some really great hotels which offer their guests such luxuries as a hot tub with a hot tub cover in their suites or spas. Having a hot tub cover shows the extent to which these hotels go in order to give their guests the very best service.
